Lure testing at neo tiew pond (aunti's pond)

I wanted to test out different colours and its effectiveness on local ponds. Each pond in singapore has its own characteristics and thus fishes will react differently to certain bait.
Auntie's pond recently has been good for baiters esp groupers.  Having change the layout of their pumps, they managed to move the fishes away from their usual camping area and into the open.
Last night I was usual several types of lure including berkley ripple and zman minnowz.
Both yielded several fishes but it ultimately the style of retrieve affects the bite rate more than the type of lure.
Last night takes were on fast retrieve, bottom dragging,  twitch/pause and jig/pause. It was my most hardworking session at a pond as I had to keep switching techniques to entice them to bite.
By the way, the rest of the pond didnt catch anything....
